Exhibist Issue 12, Special Focus on Collecting Contemporary Art

Published in May 2017, Issue 12 has a special focus on Collecting Contemporary Art.

The magazine features interviews with art collectors in Turkey such as Leyla Pekin, Mustafa Taviloğlu and Mehmet Ali Bakanay and international collector Patrizia Sandretto Re Rebaudengo.

The current issue includes an essay by Miriam La Rosa titled ‘On Contemporary Collecting: Institutions without Objects and an essay titled ‘On Setbacks and Success – Accounts of Contemporary Collecting in Turkey’ by Anna Zizlsperger

The magazine introduces established artists such as Mehmet Ali Uysal, Leyla Gediz, Fahrelnissa Zeid, Cengiz Tekin, Semiha Berksoy and Taner Ceylan and a section focusing on initiatives and public collections of contemporary art in Turkey.
